The Saudi Society of Emergency Medicine is honored to introduce its 4^th Scientific Assembly (SASEM19). It will take place in The Ritz-Carlton, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on February 4-6, 2019. There will be pre-conference workshops on February 2-3. Attendees shall be awarded 24 CME hours in addition to 8-12 CME hours from the workshops; authorized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties for this event.

Invitations will be sent out to over (70) speakers & moderators, both local & international, and on each day, more than 700 medical professional attendees from all parts of the kingdom, and the GCC region, are expected to attend.

The Saudi Society of Emergency Medicine (SASEM) is a scientific health society in the field of Emergency Medicine for both adults and pediatrics with its services covering all provinces over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was established under the umbrella of the Saudi Council for Health Specialties (SCHS) on 21/1/1427 H corresponding to 20th February 2006, with a mission to provide educational and other professional services for health professionals, the public and authorities in all aspects of the field of Emergency medicine.

The program shall run for three full-days with satellite symposia in the evenings. It is implemented to cover all those subjects related to Emergency Medicine for both adults and pediatrics such as:

The program is set up with objectives such to update the healthcare professionals on the major topics of emergency medicine, it is also designed to promote the communication and networking among the attendees and the institutions at local, regional and international level, also offering recommendations of best clinical practice, and the scientific evidence behind the practice. The formats of the conference shall be plenary lectures, lectures, workshops, meet the experts, poster presentations and oral presentations.
